Over the years the Inclusions Project has seen an increase in requests for work placements for our service users.
Phillip Marshal After more than 17 years of stacking shelves and filling carrier bags, popular supermarket worker Phillip Marshall finally decided to put his feet up. Phillip retired at the end of May 2004 from the busy South Harrow branch of Sainsbury’s. They threw him a surprise retirement party and presented him with a new watch - something he had wanted for ages! The watch was presented to him by the store’s manager Paul O’Callaghan, who said: " Mr Marshall was a valued member of the Sainsbury team. He will be greatly missed, not just by us, but also by our customers. I wish him all the best." His colleague, Anne Searle, who has worked with Phillip ever since he joined Sainsbury’s said: "He is a wonderful lad, really polite and caring. All of our regular customers knew and loved him. He was always on hand to help them with their shopping."
