As a young person with a learning disability, YOUR journey from childhood to adulthood can be both exciting and challenging. To help you meet these challenges Link Up, financed by the Big Lottery Fund, has set up the all about U Transitions Project, which focuses on the issues you may face as a 16–26 year old on your journey into adulthood. With our support you will create your very own Personal Development Plan, taking in your wishes, hopes and dreams. We want to help YOU as a young person with a learning disability to access opportunities in training, employment, recreational activities and more general learning experiences within the community.

A range of opportunities

With the support of Link Up and especially our wonderful volunteers, people with learning disabilities have been able to take part in a wide range of activities. These include further education, training, work experience, employment, sports, art, dancing, nature, culture ……… the possibilities are endless. It’s up to YOU, because it’s all about U.

Can we help?

The basis of all about U is in enabling people with learning disabilities to believe that they can do something of their own choice in the community.
