Come along and have some fun!

The Junior 1:1 Club was launched in 2002 and provides a regular opportunity for young people with learning disabilities, volunteers and families to meet in a variety of settings where friendships can develop. The people who attend the club have been instrumental in shaping its activities.

It has become a social group where people have enjoyed not only the regular club meetings but also educational and social outings to a farm, restaurants, sporting events, swimming, bowling and musical events and lots more!

       

       

                        

The past few years have seen a large increase in membership and many new friendships have evolved. The children’s activities include, storytelling through Indian Dance, pottery, karaoke, pantomime trips, cinema trips plus many others. We have also provided therapy sessions for the carers, this has proved very popular.

 

Volunteers Needed!!

With the growing number of children and parents we do need some more help from volunteers. Are you able to give up two hours on the second Thursday each month from 6.15 – 8.15pm?
